If shopping is on your to-do list, Potteries Shopping Centre is a 20-minute walk from the student flats. There you can enjoy a selection of famous high-street and brand-name stores, as well as brilliant restaurants and cafes if you are ready for a rest and a brew.

The one and only Alton Towers theme park is also just a 30-minute drive away, and offers discounted rates for students.
