There are few things better in life than a good Indian takeaway. If you are a student in Coventry, we’ve provided you with the  guide on the best Coventry restaurants you need to try, and now we’re putting together some of the best Indian takeaway in Coventry.

Every person has a different way of ‘doing’ an Indian takeaway. We all have our little habits, our favourite dishes, and for some of us this means ordering the same dish every single time we order from our favourite Indian restaurant (and we never deviate from that choice). For other people, they don’t mind ordering loads of bits and pieces and sharing with a group of people.

Whatever way you like to eat an Indian takeaway, we know how important it is to find somewhere that has quality food on offer, at a decent price. So, if you are after some poppadoms, a biryani, tandoori chicken, a paneer, or a few onion bhaji with that glowing mint sauce, we’ve got you covered.

Here are some of the best Indian takeaway options in Coventry.

Another award-winning restaurant that offers delicious Indian and Bangladeshi dishes. When you order online you also gain access to an automatic 10% discount on your order!

Meriden Spice has a 4.5* rating on Trip Advisor, and as most other Indian restaurants there is a wide choice of gluten-free, halal, veggie, and vegan options to choose from.

The menu consists of traditional curries that you know and love, such as a bhuna, a korma, a mayala, or madras, but there are also some chef’s specials like the Murghi Masala, which is a tasty Tandoori chicken, mince lamb and tomatoes.

My Dhabba

You can find My Dhabba on all the local delivery sites, such as Just Eat and Uber Eats, making it easy to get your favourite Indian and Pakistani dishes delivered directly to your student home! The meat is halal, and there are loads of vegetarian and vegan options.

The stuffed puri is a winner when talking about the starters from My Dhabba.

Choose from meat or vegetarian fillings inside the fresh, warm flatbread, some onions, garlic, and the chef’s special sauce.

My Dhabba is one of those places where you’ll want to try out new dishes every time you order from there!

Different Indian meals served on a table

The Farmhouse

215 Beechwood Ave. CV5 6HB

Another fantastic restaurant in Coventry where you can order Indian for takeaway if you don’t fancy sitting in for the night.

The Farmhouse is one of those examples of spectacular fusion. They’ve hit the nail on the head with a combination of Kashmiri and British cuisine.

The menu is exciting, using the freshest food and ideas that make your tastebuds explode. Again, it is a halal restaurant, with loads of great veggie and vegan options.

For us, you can’t go wrong with the Farmhouse signature dish, the Bombay Bad Boy. For £24, you get a juicy 10oz sirloin steak and it’s been marinated in a secret Bombay sauce.

Another interesting dish that combines both worlds is the Indian fish and chips, combining the traditional British dish with a Farmhouse spice blend, chips, and five-bean daal.

Blue Orchid is another established restaurant in Coventry where you can order takeaway through the restaurant itself or through Just Eat and other delivery partners.

It is another great fusion restaurant, offering the very best of both Thai and Indian dishes, including some  Indian classics like chicken jalfrezi and a fantastic seafood mix grill.

Some of the reviews claim it offers some of the nicest Indian food patrons have ever had, and by all accounts the staff are incredible friendly (if you decide to take away).

Khushi Grill

88 Wheelwright Lane. CV6 4HH

Khushi Grill is a local pub, family-run, that alongside the great customer service and friendly staff also serves some of the highest quality Indian and Punjabi food that you’ll find in the Coventry area.

What makes Khushi Grill stand out from its competitors is the range of mixed grills, including the regular which has lamb chops, chicken wings, chicken tikka and a kebab on the plate, but also a vegetarian mix grill, and a boneless mix grill. All for under £20 for a satisfying, belly-filling dish!
